Cost and Time Efficiency

Securing your own import license can be a long, resource-intensive process, often involving substantial fees, paperwork, and regulatory reviews. By utilizing our ROI service, your business can bypass these administrative hurdles, saving valuable time and resources that can be directed toward core business operations. This streamlined approach allows your business to focus on growth and strategy rather than on compliance and logistics, making imports more efficient and cost-effective.

What is an Importer of Record (IOR)?

An Importer of Record (IOR) is a contracted third party responsible for managing the import of goods into the Philippines on behalf of foreign and local companies. Typically, these companies must secure permits, certificates, and comply with specific regulations to legally bring goods into the country—a process that can be both costly and time-intensive.

Through our IOR service, Lio Import Philippines can act as your consignee, overseeing logistics and utilizing our established network and licenses. With our expertise in place, all you need to do is submit your required documents, and we’ll handle the rest. This service allows you to focus on planning and executing your import operations without delay.

How our IOR WORKS

License Lending Agreement

Through a third-party import license agreement, we allow your business to leverage our established import licenses legally and transparently. This agreement enables you to import goods into the Philippines without the expense and time commitment of obtaining a local import license. It’s an ideal solution for businesses looking to expedite their market entry and simplify the import process.

Document and Compliance Management

Managing import documentation and ensuring full regulatory compliance are central to our IOR service. Lio Import Philippines oversees every detail of the import documentation process, including packing lists, commercial invoices, bills of lading, and other essential records. Our team’s expertise in customs compliance helps ensure that your imports meet all Philippine regulatory standards, reducing the risk of shipment delays, fines, or penalties.

Customs Clearance and Duty Payment

Our dedicated team manages the customs clearance process from start to finish. This includes calculating the necessary import duties and handling payments to clear your goods swiftly. With our extensive experience navigating Philippine customs regulations, we work to reduce hold-ups, ensuring that your goods reach their destination without unnecessary delays.

Delivery and Logistics Support

Once your shipment clears customs, we coordinate logistics to arrange the safe and timely delivery of your goods to your chosen location within the Philippines. We work closely with trusted local partners to provide reliable delivery options, giving you the flexibility to focus on core business activities while we handle the logistics.
